What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or other network connected device in order to identify your browser, provide analytics, and remember information about you such as your language preference or login information. They're completely safe and can't be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device.

What type of cookies does Charm use?

Cookies can either be session cookies or persistent cookies. A session cookie expires automatically when you close your browser. A persistent cookie will remain until it expires or you delete your cookies. Expiration dates are set in the cookies themselves; some may expire after a few minutes while others may expire after multiple years. Cookies placed by the website you’re visiting are called “first party cookies".

Below is a detailed list of the types of cookies we use on our website. Our website is scanned with our cookie scanning tool regularly to maintain a list as accurate as possible. We classify cookies in the following categories:

  • Strictly Necessary
  • Functional/Analytic/Preferences

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are crucial for the website's functionality and cannot be disabled in your system. They enable essential features, such as navigation and form submissions, and are typically set in response to your actions. Disabling or removing these cookies may prevent you from fully accessing and using our website.

Functional/Analytic/Preferences

These cookies ensure the website runs smoothly, stays personalized, and evolves based on your needs. Disabling them may affect your experience, causing certain features to stop working and requiring you to reconfigure settings on each visit.

  • Functional Cookies enable features like remembering login details and supporting interactive elements such as live chat.
  • Preference Cookies save settings like language or region, so you don’t have to reset them each time you visit.
  • Analytic Cookies collect data on how you interact with the site, helping us track traffic, understand user behavior, and improve performance.

Details of the cookies and their purposes can be found in Appendix A.

Third-party Cookies

What is a third party cookie?

Third-party cookies are set by domains other than the one you’re visiting. For example, when a YouTube video is embedded on ehr.charmtracker.com, YouTube may place cookies on your browser. These cookies are often used for tracking, analytics, or enabling specific features.

CharmHealth as a vendor, sometimes use third-party tools, like:

  • Zoom SDK for video consultations.
  • Bluefin PayConex SDK for connecting with PAX devices.
  • YouTube for embedding product videos

These tools may set cookies necessary for their functionality. CharmHeallth strive to use privacy-friendly settings, like enabling privacy modes and limiting tracking. However, some aspects, like third-party cookies, may be beyond our control.

To track the visitors coming to our we site CharmHeallth uses Google Tags Manager(GTM) and Hubspot. These tools will use cookies for the tracking purposes. Details of the cookies and their purposes can be found in Appendix B.

How you can manage cookies?

Browser settings

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their 'settings' preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, since it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also stop you from saving customized settings like login information.

Browser manufacturers provide help pages relating to cookie management in their products.

Disclaimer

We may update this Cookie Statement from time to time in order to reflect, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please therefore re-visit this Cookie Statement regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
