Patient Check-In Kiosk

 

I would like to streamline the Patient check-in process in our Practice with a kiosk or tablet. How to do that?
Go to the 'Settings > Kiosk Setup' section. Create a new account and choose the mode of access (KIOSK or Tablet).

If you use a tablet, install the Charm Kiosk iPad app. Your front desk person can log in to the app, choose the Patient, and hand over the iPad to the Patient. If you use a Kiosk, you have to generate a PIN for each Patient from the 'Patient Dashboard'. The Patient can log in to KIOSK with the given PIN to update their details.

Is there a way for patients to electronically sign the uploaded consent forms? Where to upload the consent forms?
Yes, Patients can electronically sign consent forms from the Charm Kiosk app or their PHR account.

  1. Go to the 'Settings > Questionnaire > Practice Questionnaire' section. Click on the '+Questionnaire' button and choose 'Consent Form' in the drop-down list. Create a consent form based on Practice requirements.

    Note: You can use default consent form templates available in Charm Library for this purpose.

  2. Share the consent forms just like Questionnaires before or during an appointment. You can also Auto-assign consent forms to particular Providers or Visit Types.

Once shared, Patients can access and sign the shared consent forms electronically from their PHR account or Kiosk app under the Questionnaires section.

Additionally, you can also make it mandatory to sign a consent form while joining Telehealth appointments under the 'Settings > Charm TeleHealth > Preferences > Consent Forms' section.
